Does Peds count as med/surg experience?

I have 1.5 years Med/surg and 1 year Peds.

This may be a silly question, but in the eyes of a travel agency, do I have I have 2.5 years sufficient med/surg experience, or do they look at my PEDS as totally seperate

I have always heard that PEDS is high acuity so I goes a long way in terms of experience

You would have to ask each agency. Your profile is going to reflect your actual experience to a manager, so it is really what they think of your qualifications for their needs versus other submitted travelers. It is true that non-clinical flunkies in both your agency and the hospital HR may screen your profile and not get the profile to the interviewing manager if it doesn't fit exactly their criteria. If you have trouble, just move on to the next hospital or agency.
