Hi, I worked at DRMC for a 13 week assignment ending in june of 2008. I worked in the ICU and would never work there again. I did speak to a few floor nurses who said they were treated very well. What unit are you looking at?

Palm Springs in general is a very cool town, lots of things to do and the night life is awesome! The hospital is very bad about dumping on the travellers, you will get the first admission, the pt's with difficult families, or the ones climbing out of bed. I am from the midwest and personally felt the level of care was poor. Would never take another assignment there and most of the travellers I worked with felt the same way. The hospital will tell you this story about how the travellers love it, but that is not what the travellers say.... Also had a lot of problems with human resources getting paychecks and reimbursements.
