Car insurance HELLLPPPP

I am about to get cancelled from Geico because I travel and I am gone from my resident state more than 50% of the year. How do you all do car insurance??? Most places don't insure for 3 months at a time but for 6 months at a time. My insurance will be cancelled on the 29th for this reason. I need to know what to do. the customer service personell could not really help me. She just said I need to find a insurance co who can insure me 3 months at a time for what ever state I move to!!!!! Confused and upset

I had state farm and just left them after 15 years or so/got rid of my car and am driving our other car. I paid by the month but it did renew every 6 months. I had to have my home base and 6 months being gone was never an issue. I will look and see what other's say. I did have to pay a higher premium though since I drove more than the average miles per year for work and not for pleasure.
