Can you take a break from nursing and still be eligible for travel?

  1. 0 I have about 3 years of labor and delivery experience and may start traveling soon.
If I take a break from hospital nursing for a few years when I have children, would I be able to start up traveling again?
Or would I have to return to the hospital to get recent L&D experience?

You will need at least a year of documented RECENT experience in what ever specialty you wish to practice. Hard to say how long everyone's definition of recent is. There may be licensing issues also if you don't work as a Nurse a certain number of hours during your license duration.
