If I take a break from hospital nursing for a few years when I have children, would I be able to start up traveling again?
Or would I have to return to the hospital to get recent L&D experience?

- Mar 2, '12 by RNERHOUSESUPORYou will need at least a year of documented RECENT experience in what ever specialty you wish to practice. Hard to say how long everyone's definition of recent is. There may be licensing issues also if you don't work as a Nurse a certain number of hours during your license duration.
