Has any of you encountered this prerequisite as a travel RN
at this facility? I have heard that "Monte" can be incredibly picky sifting through resumes and that they will not consider less than a BSN for a staff position. I am hoping this does not apply to travel RNs...

Right now, it is very unlikely that getting a BSN will make any difference to a travel nurse career. Certifications or a specialty change will make a much larger difference to your marketability than will a BSN.
Experience is what it really comes down to. Some agencies seem to be able to submit me and some cannot. It is who they know too and work with.
