Best specialty area?

by VCUX2

Hi, I will be graduating soon and would like to do travel nursing after gathering experience. Which specialty area has the most openings? I am interested in Cardiac/medicine/surgery or Labor and Delivery. One travel nurse that I spoke with is discouraging me from Labor and Delivery. Is it difficult to have L&D as a speciality when travel nursing? Thanks for your help.

I'm a traveller as well, and I was told by my recruiter the best specialty is Critical Care, although most hospitals now want 2-3 years instead of the obligatory 1 year of experience.
