Best cities/states to be a nurse

Where are the best states and/or cities that you have worked as a travel nurse, as far as salaries, hospital conditions, staffing, etc? I know that a lot of these factors depend on the hospital and floor themselves, but, in general, where were your favorite cities to work?

I worked as a traveler in Flagstaff, Arizona and loved every minutes of it. Such a great hospital to work in, friendly staff, great city and housing. The workload was fairly easy(3-4 med/surg patients on nights). Lots to do out there if you are into the outdoors.
