Assignments Colorado Springs anyone?

Hi all! I am interested in finding a travel nurse assignment in Colo. Spgs. This will be my first travel gig! Help!
Anyone know any good companies servicing that area? I have 7 years ICU experience. Would like to do cardiac cath, interventional radiology, endoscopy, or ICU. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I'm late in replying, but I'm a CO native and six years ago my mom got very, very sick and was in ICU at Memorial in the Springs for two weeks and knocked out with Diprovan and on a vent for one of those weeks. That department was INCREDIBLE. I was not a nurse at the time and I can't provide specifics on pay, etc. but the RNs in Memorial's ICU were obviously happy or they would not have done such a wonderful job taking care of Mom, not to mention dealing so nicely with family issues. Even when the Diprovan drip was running, they took the time to explain procedures to her, and other "little" things like washing her hair, doing mouth care, etc. From what I remember, the ratios were never higher than 2 pt. per nurse (I've actually read about some ICUs going up to 3-4 which is just nuts!).

I also overheard the RT's saying that they made a lot more money there than at the other two hospitals in COS (Penrose and St. Francis).

Of course, it has been several years and things change, but it's definitely worth checking out. Keep me posted and good luck in CO!
