Ashville or Salisbury, NC

Has anyone worked at the either of the hospitals in Ashville or Salisbury, NC. Second question, is anyone headed that way? I've been offered Salisbury and I'm considering Ashville. Concerned about the pay rate. Kind of low I think. Any imput would be appreciated.:)

I have family in Salisbury and they've been there for 25 years now....some longer. It still kind of has a small town feel. I go there a lot and enjoy it. The crime rate there is higher than it used to be but that is probably everywhere you go, sadly.

Salisbury is not quite as scenic as Asheville but it is a bit warmer in winter.:) Cost of living is not as high is Salisbury as A-ville.
