    Looking for an assignment in Palm Beach County for the winter. Thought I had the best company to find but not getting any offers right now. Anyone else having same? Trying to remember the agencies that are in the area. Don't want CCTC and am already signed up with the other (in Sunrise).

    I am heading to New Port Richey in January. My company American Traveler offered me about 20 positions in Florida with start dates around the 5th and 13th of January. If you want the name of my recuriter let me know.

    They cost me a lot of money, time and trouble. I won't go into the specifics on this site but do not allow them to place you in an "exclusive" contract, where they do an "in house" interview and then send you to a facility without you ever having the opportunity to speak with the on site manager.

    Hi Rod,

    Could you elaborate more on this phenomenon? In general? For example, why do you need to speak with manager on site? Newb here.

    That way you are sure what information is given. I agreed to a specific position to the company rep. When I arrived the manager had me slated for another position. Traveled many miles to get there only to leave without completing the assignment. Charged for housing too. Will not work for cctc.

    I see, so the "in house" / exclusive interview bound you to an agreement with the travel company, and the temporary employer and travel company had a disconnect regarding your assignment? Seems like the contract is null and void to me if the assignment changed. I bet it was the tiny type.

    Anyways, thanks for the tip. I will keep my eyes open if I ever travel.
