Access nurses offers the lowest contracts around. Plus once they have your info they never stop hounding you even when you tell them you are not interested.

Give me a pm if you want more info or some recommendations on travel companies. I am currently in California.

What do you think about Medical Express and Nurses RX? I am new to travel nursing and my biggest concern is health insurance. Anyone have advice for me

Access does pay low. I worked a contract with them in Jacksonville, FL at Memorial Medical Center (a hell hole). I had some ethical issues with my OR assignment and was not backed at all by them. I ended my contract so I would not loose my license and they expected me to reimburse them for my contract.

I work with Access and haven't had any problems (to date lol). Its true they don't pay the most, but I only had 1 yr experience when I started so I took what I could get! Anyways, I'm sure there's better agencies, but they're not bad!

hey, just accepted a position with this company, was thinking the pay rate sounds a bit low for a travel RN, but i am a first timer as well, so don't really know any better..also, going to san diego and heard this city is low paying in general, however doesn't seem to make much sense seeing as living expenses seem so high...
does anyone know if it is possible to bargain for a better pay rate with this company, or is it set in stone??
