? About getting/keeping certifications while traveling!

I just wanted to know how do those of you who travel exclusively keep your certifications current and or get new ones when you are not staff at a hospital. I have been on one travel assignment and about to start another however I have been offered a position at a hospital and I think I need to take the job due to my BLS about to expire in June and I want ACLS and PALS and the position will allow me to get both certs. very soon.

You can get your certifications, or renew them, just about anywhere you are. I just check with the hospital wherever I am for their schedule of inservices and schedule around them. The only difference as a traveler is that some places may require you to pay a fee for them. If I happen to be at a small hospital that doesn't have the courses often I check with the hospitals in the surrounding area.

O.K thanks I didn't know if they allowed travelers to take part in those classes, however I'm sure that the first priority goes to their staff nurses when filling the classes.
