    I didn't get the evolve admission assessment study guide, but I did get the Elsevier HESI admission assessment exam review book... wondering if I should have gotten the Evolve admission assessment book. I also have the Mometrix HESI A2 study guide. They both seem very general, but needless to say I'm studying these two and looking through old A&P notes and teaching myself A&PII stuff since I've not taken A&PII and I take the HESI on Aug 18... UGH! Slightly stressed, but trying to stay positive and focused! Thanks and good luck to you as well!

    it sounds like you're well prepared with study material. i hear a lot of people like the fundamentals of nursing book for the ct section. i found out about it last minute though and didn't have time to buy it. are you going to the info session? i have the evolve book if you want it.

    i hope that i have enough study material.... standardized test like this make me really nervous!! i'm super nervous especially cause i've not taken a&p ii and i have to take this test before i do.... i hope i can get enough out of just reading the chapters! i'm not going to the info session. i actually went to an info session at the beginning of may.

    I remember there being a lot of questions from A&P I. Know the heart/blood flow and digestive tract from A&P 2. I think I remember one question from Urinary. But a lot of questions came from general terminology and then the bones and muscles. I've heard a lot of people take the HESI without having finished A&P.

    I'm not sure if this was answered, but I used the calculator on the screen the whole time. They had a multiplication question with decimals and I literally just plugged it in the calculator and chose that answer. Good luck on your HESI!

    Thank you!! I think I'm over stressing about the math section. I might be at the information session this week, I'll know for sure tomorrow.

    I know what you mean but don't psych yourself out! All you can do for now is to keep studying! You can do it!! I was stressing out over the math section and now I'm worried about the CT.

    Honestly, I had zero time to study for the CT. As I began that section, I thought oh crap, I'm going to have to take this entire exam over because of critical thinking. But then I ended up doing much better than I thought I would. You just have to remember that for the most part, all of the answers are correct. You just have to put yourself in a nurse's shoes and pick the best one. It's usually easy to eliminate two answers. It's choosing one of the two that are left that is the hardest. Just think like a nurse!

    I tried to do that but I ultimately scored low on that section. I got a 770, hope I get in with that score.

    Thanks for the insight in regards to the A&P. I am definitely looking through and reading over the chapters on those systems for A&PII. I'm trying not to psych myself out here and keep positive thoughts.
