I agree with what everyone else has said! In the math know all your unit conversions from memory - there will be questions on that.
A&P - I went through all my old labs and just skimmed to refresh my memory. That really helped. - Mar 18 by meganelaine93Quote from wileynurseThank you!! I need to brush up on math..worst subject! Y'all are awesome!!

Can you tell me if the ID badges you are required to wear are horizontal or vertical? Im in my OCD must plan ahead phase.... /sigh - Mar 27 by meganelaine93Quick question for you all...how bad does it look to have a W on your transcript or to drop a class? Can anyone tell me what it would look like to UTH if I'm applying for spring semester. I have a 3.7 prereq GPA and a 4.0 science. This semester I've been taking 4 classes--A&P 1, music, philosophy, and statistics. I'm failing stats and am considering dropping it and taking it at a community college over a maymester. (I took stats in high school and this professor just make the class completely impassable, and I have all A's in my other classes.) I'm taking summer classes as well, but I just wanted to see if someone had some advice on this subject or maybe has been there. If I still have 3 A's even if I drop this class, and this is the only class I ever dropped (and probably will ever drop) do you think it would hurt my chances of getting in for spring? I have not been able to attend an info session at the school yet but if anyone has and they mentioned dropped classes would someone let me know? It's stressing me out any advice or help or info would be appreciated!!!!!

- Mar 28 by flower23I don't think it will necessary hurt you if you dropped stat. A W is always better than a failing grade. If everything else in regards to pre-req and the Hesi score (you'll take) are good, then your chances of getting (had you not drop) would be even better. Unlike TWU nursing where they factor in first time takers for prereq, Uth doesn't. Again, they look at your whole academic career. If you get a W this time and make an A the next time around, you are better off than making a D/F and having to retake. Have you taking an exam for stats yet? I've taken stats with this one easy professor. Everything is calculator lol and he teaches summer. Do you take classes in the Houston area or Dallas area? Hopes this help.
