    Hello all,
    I'm planning to apply to TWU-Houston spring 2013 too. I finished all my pre reqs at hcc last semester. I tried applying for Prairie View for this Fall 2012, but got disqualified. To those that are trying to apply to PV make sure to read the instructions carefully and be on top of your stuff because they are very messy. I'm currently studying for TEAS V right now, I will be taking it in a few weeks. I'm also trying to get into Coleman this Fall so I could at least get Pharmacology out of the way. And i'm going to all to other nursing schools around Houston. Good luck to all future nurses

    I'm applying to TWU Dallas in Sept. Currently I am taking AP I and Micro. I will finish stats and AP II this summer. I will take TEAS V this summer. I'm nervous about finishing my courses right before the applications are due, since the website says apply 6 weeks before the 9/1 cutoff.
    How long does it take for them to receive our TEAS scores? I'm not sure how to time that-wait to finish classes or take it before I finish classes.

    Hi kmlnielsen! I wouldn't worry too much about having everything in 6 weeks before the deadline. I was worried about that too, but I talked to my advisor, and she told me that as long as everything is at the school before 9/1, then we're good.
    My advisor also told me that as long as I took the TEAS at least a week before the 9/1 cut-off date, then my score would be there in time. So I'm guessing it takes a couple of days for them to receive the score?

    I am also planning to apply to TWU Spring 2013! I have already taken all my pre-reqs, and i will be taking the TEAS on the 20th of this month. I am also applying to two other schools. Best of luck to all!

    Does anyone applying here have their CNA certification and possible could help me study for my skills? I am trying to get my CNA before applying for TWU and am coming from Washington where the skills requirements are a bit different than in Texas.
