    I am scheduled to take the HESI on the 17th as well. The receipt that I got from the testing center says the the topics covered on our test will be grammar, vocab, math, reading comprehension, personality, and learning style.

    Great job Christy!! That is a great score. Good luck tomorrow Kate and Christin. It will be such a relief to have it done!! Just 12 more days until the application period closes and our "official" wait begins.

    Took my HESI today with an overall score of 92.5. I was surprised that vocab was my lowest score and was the section that brought my overall average down

    That's great Christin!! My vocabulary was my lowest score too which shocked me. My math was the highest. I've heard that the vocabulary gets a lot of people. Yay, you're done with the HESI and that's a great score!

    Math was my highest too. I knew every vocab from the study guide but only saw about 3 or 4 of those words on the test. It took my average down 3 points! Did they tell you that we would be notified 3-4 weeks after the deadline? I thought we had to wait until May!

    So glad that my testing day is over with. The vocabulary was tricky. I did better in math than I expected to. Hope it's enough to make it in the program.

    Congrats Chrisin and Hill!! Chrisin, I was told by the advisor that it is only taking them 3-4 weeks to process but, I am cautiously optimistic. They could always take until May but, I hope the advisor was correct in his statement. Hoping some of you hear the same when you drop your apps off. Has anyone else dropped them off and been told the same thing?

    I took my HESI Friday as well. I agree that the vocab was tricky, and I am hearing the same from most people! It was my lowest score by far. I dropped off my app but did not get a time frame from the adviser as he was not the actual nursing adviser....now I am paranoid he will not pass on my application, lol!

    Also, for those of you with a facebook account, there is a facebook page that was created by one of my former classmates. It is called TCC Nursing Group. It is a closed group but you just have to request to be added. It is a good place to go to for info, and there are a lot of current nursing students on it as well, if you have any questions etc...
