I took Medical Microbiology during the summer I session at Tomball with Dr. ********. He was extremely tough! I bought my micro book brand new and barely used it. I'm taking a (hopefully) really awesome professor for micro...like I had to stay up until midnight when registration opened because her classes go so fast. Lol I'm taking pharm online too. - Jul 23, '12 by CaseyTJust clarification to my earlier comment. I was referring to the LVN/RN transition. My head has been so buried in that lately, that's all I think of.
You were correct. The basic 2 year RN program takes 80, the traditional LVN/RN transition takes 40, and the Quest online takes 20. I'm almost 100% positive on those. But who knows...things change around this campus all the time. - Jul 25, '12 by emahewaHi evryone!
I retook my Hesi today and I am very disappointed! I got 84-Grammar, 90-Comprehension, 90- Math, 96-A&P, and 70- Vocabulary...I know all the vocabularies in the Hesi review book and still failed!!!...They were like 5 vocabulary which came from the book and the rest I have never heard them....does anyone know any information/books that I can use?
Thank you!! - Jul 26, '12 by sapadgettQuote from emahewaI used the Evolve Reach Admission Assesment Review book to study for the HESI. The vocab, though, was kind of tricky because some of those words they threw at you I had never seen before. Lol Are you going to try to retake? Good luck!Hi evryone!

I have the same book, but I guess it wasn't my lucky day. I think I'll have to retake the test again.... - manders235 likes this.

Im so ready to get in, I am a LVN right now and work as a in home pediatric nurse nights, so its really nice to be able to study I just hope I make it. Also on the Hesi all my scores where excellent except biology I got a 68% do I have to retake the whole Hesi test even though it doesnt really ask for that grade? On the prereqs sheet it says a 75% in EACH section so does that count? I emailed valarie just waiting to hear back.
- Aug 21, '12 by ikegrad2002oakleyelyse22, As long as you scored at least 75% in the Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar, Math and Anatomy and Physiology sections you should be fine. I don't believe they look at your Biology score. GOOD LUCK!
