Register Today!- May 7, '12 by StephalumpTlcarter...I vote option 3. I don't think it's worth the stress of #1 and I KNOW it wouldn't be worth the stress of #2 in my book. I guess #3 is pushing it to the last minute, but you'd just HAVE to complete it, much like you HAVE to complete your specific nursing courses every semester. The only way I might go for #1 would be if the professor had an awesome rating. I made the mistake of signing up under a teacher who ended up being rated TERRIBLY, and I paid for it big time, whereas other people I know who had great teachers breezed through it with better grades they spent half the time earning. :-/TxDiscoDiva likes this.

I say get the classes out of the way! After summer 1, I will only lack chem. I will be BSN core complete (for UTHSC and TexasTech) when I finish chem. (hopefully that will be next summer) and I plan on transitioning from the ADN to a BSN program as soon as possible. I will also be able to get a job and work while I am studying for a BSN which is good because I will be gaining job experience. Good luckgmarks and tlcarter99 like this. - May 7, '12 by kaliseferTxDiscoDiva,
Did you get a final grade in the Micro class you did not finish? I know of a student who was in a similar position and was put on contract. He received and IP on his transcript and was put on contract, which meant that when he was able and ready to take the final he had to contact the assistant dean to arrange for the exam. He did not have to take the entire course all over again, he only had to complete the final. Does your transcript have an IP for that course? -

I took bowling for my kinesiology course. It was out of NH. We went only met at the NH campus two times last summer. Our class met at the bowling alley every Sunday at 2pm. You might not like bowling, but it was easy and it turned out to be fun as well. - May 7, '12 by kaliseferI am so not ready for my stats final on Wed. I logged on to the computer to study notes for the final and I ended up catching up with you FUTURE NURSES. Hope everyone does well on their final exams this week, if you are taking classes this semester. I am also really not wanting to start a mini mester next Monday, but I know it will be for the better in the end. I do not know which was more difficult, waiting for the acceptance letters or waiting for orientation, lol next it will probably be waiting to start the program blaaahhhhh
- May 7, '12 by Candie116Kalisefer Hey! Hmm I was thinking about taking bowling, dont you have to pay the bowling fee every class though? I would think paying for the class would include that? Also I have a stats final too tomorrow... Not looking forward to it, but I'm really dreading my chem final!!! Good luck to you! And orientation for me at north harris is next thurs, I can barely contain myself lol!!

Bon contacted me to do a declaratory order, which I expected. Sent everything off, now anxiously waiting. I'm a little discouraged, because my aunt had to do the same thing to endorse her license from out of state, and it has taken all but 6 months. She hasn't been able to work or anything. So, I am expecting the worst. The bright side is, I'll be able to finish the remainder of my prereqs for a BSN program, and apply to CY-Fair and Kingwood. I'm taking my last A&P class over in the summer to boost my grade, which will ultimately boost my points. I'm just blessed in knowing that I was almost there, and it can be done. Wishing you ladies (and/or gentlemen) success in your studies.
