- Jan 24 by HemcdougallI plan on applying to Alvin. Along with Lonestar college and UTMB. I have taken the teas and I scored a 74 overall. Could have done better, I thought it was really hard. The science portion is what got me, I barely made a 60. It asked a lot of questions about topics I wasn't familiar with. I would say to get the study guide and take some practice tests. I did not do either of those things and still made a 74, but I know if I would have studied I could have done much better! I personally did think it was much more difficult than the hesi as well, mostly because of the science section. Good luck!

- Jan 24 by montovThanks I take the TEAS next week and HESI in February. I have been studying & I hope I do well. I really hate tests. Are you applying to Alvin this Fall. I thought about Lonestar as well but it seemed too far for me.
Good Luck to you too!
