    It is likely your 5/6 PSB score. The Hep B won't figure against you at all as long as it is done before school were to start. Chances are there were a ton of people with 15 points. Total nursing GPA, whether you already have a degree, whether you have finished your co-requisites yet, whether you have taken most of your credit hours at Collin College, whether you live in Collin County and whether you maxed out the PSB are all tie-breaking criteria that can be used. The PSB is looked at high in that process and those who didn't max it out are usually in first rounds of cuts, depending on how many applied and what their stats are of course. If a lot of people had 16 points and there were only a few slots for 15 point applicants, that figures in to the odds. Even if there were only a few with 16 points but still 300+ applicants, all the above criteria goes into deciding who of the 15 pointers get in.

    Don't despair. They will tell you on Monday where you are on the wait list. If you are in the top 10 there's a chance you will get in by the end of the summer.

    Everyone who satisfied 100% of the application criteria gets put on the waitlist. Usually about five of those get in.

    So if I call on Monday do I schedule an appt or do I discuss everything over the phone. Is calling tomorrow (Friday) a bad idea? I know silly questions, I just can't imagine myself wasting 6 months and doing nothing, it just has to work!

    I got in toooooooo!!! I'm so excited - I already bought my shoes!

    Hey I called today about an error on my letter and they are taking appts only(the lady said they wont discuss anything over the phone). They said they will book the appts for anytime after Monday the 20th! If I was you I would call and get an appt as soon as possible...someone will be in the office tomorrow to call and get an appt! Hope it helps!

    This is my second time to apply (thus the name, I know really creative!) Just fyi: They do not/cannot/maybe refuse by choice not to tell you where you are on the waiting list. So if you're number 1 or number 299, you really won't know unless they call you and say "hey, we've got an opening." Sorry, I know it sucks, but it's just what happened my first time around which was last semester when I got wait listed the first time.

    I was waitlisted too w/ 13 points.. Does everyone get waitlisted?? or do they only send rejection letters to the people who didn't complete all the steps for the application? Just wanna get an idea of what my chances are...

    Those of you that were waitlisted, did it say on your letter how many points you had?? I thought it did for some reason, but a friend of mine said his didn't say. So I was just curious.

    And good luck to you all, I really hope you guys can get in.

    Mine did not have any points on there at all. It just said I was on the waiting list. I have been trying to call the office all morning & no answer. I am so anxious!
