    Hi fellow nursing students!

    So I really want to apply to the UT Tyler nursing program but it is getting harder by the year...

    When I apply I will have a GPA of about 2.8-3.0.
    My TEAS scores will be hopefully a 90 or so.

    With these things, do you think I would have a shot of getting in?

    You should look into the branch campus at Longview. I dont have the best grades, my gpa is a 3.2 and my advisor told me realistically I had a better shot at the Longview or Palestine branch. I met with the Longview advisor and she is the sweetest thing. She said since I came from a Community College Id probably do better at the branchcampus because it is WAY smaller then the UT-Campus.
    Just something to think about.
