Hello! I searched the site and seen no one made a topic about the people trying to enter in Fall 2013 so here is it :up: I am applying to UTMB for Fall 2013. I've written my personal statement and filled in the application. Now i'm waiting on nursing CAS to receive all my transcripts and to take my TEAS test on Jan. 8. I'm so nervous. How is everyone else coming along?

Hey everyone. This forum seems so deserted though I'm sure many of us are checking it feverishly throughout the day as I have been lol, just curious, who if they did not get in this semester would be REAPPLYING to utmb for spring acceptance. I'm really between a rock and a hard place with whether or not I should go to the school tht accepted me or hold out and reapply in December for utmb...o gosh, life and its curveballs lol since taking chem n a few other pre-reqs my gpa has gone up, I feel a little more confident abt getting in next semester bcz I'm certain I didn't make the cut this year. Soooo yea, has there been any that got in on their 2nd or 3rd reapply??

I have fulfilled all of the things I need to do to get started at blinn in August fingerprint physical exam etc. If I don't make it in this go round I will start there. The reason I did is because I know someone who applied to a BSN program 3 times before getting into her choice school. Se wanted to get in there because of the location and she has kids so commuting far was not an option.That's a year and a half wasted where if she had just accepted the school that did accept her she would have been darn near done with school. If you feel like you would have a good chance of getting in next semester and you are set on attending utmb then follow your heart. On the flip side you did get into a good program so you have somewhere to fall back on,at this point it's just up to you and what you feel is best for your situation.

Have you got any friends that going to Chamberlain? Please let me know. I have an appointment next week with the financial department at Chamberlain to see how my tuition and is there any chance of getting any scholarship there. The Pharmacology at Coleman is crazy difficult. We had gone through the first 2 weeks with 20 chapters to study and the first test done today. It was just crazy test and I did not do well on that test. Plus a client of mine told me the ADN program at Coleman is super hard and even she graduated from that school but she would not recommended to anyone. Lol.

thank u for the feedback cham, u def touched great points that im stuck between. Going for my heart at utmb and risk probably being class 2045 lol or just going to where i was accepted in odessa where the cost of an one bedroom apt is $900+. Im gonna keep praying on it, unfortunately i may be running out of time.

Bummer! But at least you have Blinn. UTMB is my last hope. I still have not gotten an email, and it is making me very anxious. At this point I just want to know. Good or bad! Good luck at Blinn!

Srry to hear that Cham. I'm happy for u tht u hv blinn, very nervous abt checking my email now. Ugh...good luck on ur journey to nursing nonetheless
