Hello! I searched the site and seen no one made a topic about the people trying to enter in Fall 2013 so here is it  I am applying to UTMB for Fall 2013. I've written my personal statement and filled in the application. Now i'm waiting on nursing CAS to receive all my transcripts and to take my TEAS test on Jan. 8. I'm so nervous. How is everyone else coming along?

me toooo!

So I'm wondering if the first batch of acceptance/rejection letters have gone out? Any info?

Hahaha this song has been stuck in my head for the past hr. after reading this post. I had to come back and let you know. AHHHHH! I am ready for those emails, letters, pigeon with a note tied to its leg, or however they send out the acceptance letters. Lol this has been the most stressful time of my life.... So far.

Hello everyone! I have been lurking in the shadows for a while now just reading the comments but I had received my acceptance email earlier today! I am very excited and plan to attend UTMB however I am waiting for one more school to make my decision. Does anyone know if the traditional program runs through the summer? Good luck to everyone :)

I'm pretty sure the traditional program is now 4 straight semesters. So Fall, Spring, Summer, and Fall.

At least I think so.......

My friend got into the traditional program last year and they ended up changing it to 4 semesters in 1.5 years. So she has summer classes right now, but I don't know if they're doing that again this year.

What were your stats if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you, I had also thought that it runs through the summer.

I am very new to this forum and don't know how to use it quite well but sure I will share my stats! I had a 3.59 gpa overall and my teas score was a 79. I believe my personal statement had helped me in this case bc I didn't have the best stats but none the less I am very excited!! I wish everyone luck and DONT GIVE UP :) It took me awhile to get into nursing school myself so keep on believing and pushing. Also, how do I join the FB group??

Hey everyone! I just wanted to stop in & say hi! I'm actually in the program now. I started in January and I'm currently on my 2nd semester. I noticed a few of you are waiting to find out if you've been accepted or not. I applied in June of 2012 and found out in September that I was accepted. But, some didn't find out until a month before we started. There's a TON of applicants and it takes them a while to sort through & accept the ones they want. Also, we just started a new semester last week, so they're probably still working on getting everything settled. It's a busy time when a new semester starts.

Just keep checking your mystar and email/mail! You'll find out soon! If any of you have any questions about admission or the program itself you can send me a private message & I'll be happy to answer them. Good luck, everyone!
