UTMB Fall 2013

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hello! I searched the site and seen no one made a topic about the people trying to enter in Fall 2013 so here is it  I am applying to UTMB for Fall 2013. I've written my personal statement and filled in the application. Now i'm waiting on nursing CAS to receive all my transcripts and to take my TEAS test on Jan. 8. I'm so nervous. How is everyone else coming along?

Ok, a little confusion here- I applied through NCAS and Mystar is complete. I've seen some comments regarding submitting "offical transcripts" directly to utmb by 2/15/13. Is this necessary? Doesn't utmb receive this information from NCAS?

From what I understand we do not submit transcripts directly to UTMB until we are officially accepted.

Thanks, that's what I thought. Just wanted to be sure though.

So if you took the Teas just for UTMB at a testing center, did they not send the scores for you? Or do I have to go to ATI and ask them to send it?

Sammyann, you'll have to have ATI send them for you. Luckily at one of the other schools I'm applying to, the secretary told me I could just send a copy of the scores--saved me twenty-six dollars! But, unfortunately, most schools want an official copy sent from ATI.

STILLLlL WAITING......

They should have sent them automatically. I took it specifically for UTMB and mine were sent without me having to pay extra.

Me too! This is going to be a long few months.

Here's a list of apartments in the Galveston area I got off TAMU Galveston's website for those of you that are searching. They have a lot of options with good rates. And check the actual apartment website, this list is two years old, so the rates may be different. Or better yet, call. And make sure you check out apartmentratings.com as well to see if you really want to live there or not. The reviews are extremely helpful, if available:
