I am new to allnurses.com and I wanted to start a topic for the Spring 2013 applicants at UTHSC Houston. Where we can keep each other posted on the process as it nears. I have yet to take the HESI but i wonder if anyone else has taken it and what their score was. I will compile my GPA's later and post them on here.

Are they accepting more students from the waiting list?

I wish we knew! :-) I would call and ask but I bet they can't really say. So just keep hoping! There is still today... You never know

I guess it's final now. So sad. Going to buy Teas study guide and cram next 15 days for test to get into TWU for fall. Not happy.

I know! I've been cramming for a few days now! TEAS here we come! Maybe late registration, but that's pulling for strings of hope. Guess we will start the Fall forum. I'm very sad and I know we are all feeling the same thing!

Have you been contacted? Or emailed about your status? I have received no email or calls about my status. In fact, ----------- called me Wednesday night telling me that I will received a call on Thursday about my status. Still have a chance, two students got in on the first day of class. Still some hope left.

I haven't.. No one has called me or emailed me about my status but that is good to hear! I did see that at least two that were on here got in. So maybe... Yay hope is a bit restored! Trust me I will post here first when I hear, because I know we are all in the same boat! ;-) But no one called you Thursday about your status on Thursday? That's so strange. Oh well I'll keep my faith, hope and dreams up, while studying! I'm not giving up just quite yet! Thanks!!!

Nope, never got a call back on Thursday. Guess we have to wait.

Talked to UT today and if we have not been called, then we will not. Just filled out application for the Fall....really mad I didn't try the summer start BSN program. Studying for TEAS as well and applying for TWU....here we go again....really bummed.

Thanks. That's good to know. I tried to call them today and all I got was voicemail. Looks like studying for the TEAS is priority. Wish they would've informed us... Would've been polite! Good luck to of all you! Keep in touch!
