Hi,

I am new to allnurses.com and I wanted to start a topic for the Spring 2013 applicants at UTHSC Houston. Where we can keep each other posted on the process as it nears. I have yet to take the HESI but i wonder if anyone else has taken it and what their score was. I will compile my GPA's later and post them on here.

I think it's a good idea to get our titers shots and take CPR classes prior to Nov. Things are going to move so fast in December.[h=1][/h]

Who really knows what they are looking for... from other older post on this website I have seen people with a GPA of less than 3.0 or around 3.0 get accepted to the program.

I also find it very interesting that on the Evolve website you can see what the averages are for the test for the school that you are applying to. Very interesting averages!

Log into evolve.elsevier.com and go to the page with your score - to the left of the link "Admission Assessment Report" under My Exams, you should see a plus sign. Click that and it'll show you the average scores for each section including the critical thinking.

Okay so UT is my only option now :(. Just got a letter from HBU saying that i am an alternative... Sucks, i mean who would not want to go there if accepted. Now i am really anxious, come on UT lets go.

Does anyone know how to find out the overall hesi score? I took the chemistry and biology by accident( and UT doesnt count those) so i wanted to recalculate my score to see what i made without those two categories

Hello s.peter, when did you receive your letter b/c I applied to HBU too. Why did you say, "who would not want to go if accepted". Would you have preferred HBU to UT
