Joey, that's a great GPA AND if you are a male that may be an advantage for you. Most schools and hospitals try to encourage the males into the female dominated profession of nursing. I'm not saying that you would def get in because your a guy, but a guy with your GPA looks great. Just my opinion and what I've heard from other nursing schools take on make applicants.

Hey everybody!

I was just curious if anyone has heard of a situation like mine before. I was accepted in fall of 2012 for generic BSN @ UTHSC-Houston and was accepted, but was not done with all my pre-reqs yet. Does anyone know if my chances are pretty good for getting in this time around(fall 2013)?

I'm just kidding, I almost had the same problem you did when I emailed about a transcript issue the person I spoke with assumed I was applying for a completely different semester than I was applying for which caused a ton of confusion.

Jes, when I log into myUTH my to do list is blank.

I know it can be confusing, sometimes.

My problem is I decided to move to Austin for personal reasons but it didnt work out here so Im headed back. Hopefull to get in the Fall. Its all in Gods hands now and if I dont get in I will try until I do! Never give up, never, never, never! :)
