    whoa.

    i just got into TWU today. But I'm most def. choosing UT over it. BUT....they need a response by April 9 and I doubt UT will send letters out that early will they?? Do you think they would send me one early bc of the circumstances? I'm confused....help?
    Have you checked UTLink? You can always accept TWU and then decline if UT offers you a spot. Trust me, I learned the hard way not to turn any offers down.

    Why do you need a letter for UT early?

    yah, yall are right. I'm just being super paranoid. I'd just really like the actual letter before I turn down a great school like TWU.

    So I took care of some business yesterday and now my account says:

    You have been admitted to the program for the term shown above.

    I feel so much better now. Can't wait to get this started!

    I was really down all week because my status was still pending, and I thought that it meant that I did not get accepted into the program. After just checking UT Link one last time today my status changed from pending to granted provisional admission. Does anybody know for sure this means one is accepted into the school, and does anybody know when the letters will be sent out? Thanks

    Hi opera. Rocky wrote posts on page 6 and 7 saying that "You have been granted provisional admission" means you are accepted and what provisional means. Check it out. Hope that helps

    Hi. I was wondering if anyone knows information about parking? (i.e. where to park, take metrorail instead, etc.) Thanks

    Congratulations to all who have been accepted. I will be starting my application process this fall, so if you don't mind sharing, I would like to find out what your GPAs are, both overall and science. Thank you.

    Can anybody direct me to the UTHSC's online application link? Or will it not open until later this year? I really want to begin applying as soon as I can. I already applied to TWU but for admissions only, not the College of Nursing.

    congratulations to all that made it into ut fall 2007!!! i am so glad to see that everyone on this thread made it in. out of the 1300 applications for both the bsn generic and bsn acc you are part of the 170 students selected. you should all be very proud of yourselves!!!

    to those who did not get accepted, please do not feel discouraged. continue to complete your pre-reqs as you would have done if you were accepted. even if you are not accepted [font='times new roman']initially, there are students that are in the same situation as lene is deciding between schools and will not chose to come to ut. that will leave an opening and possibly you will be accepted at that time. i can honestly say that i know at least 10 people in my class right now that got accepted the week before class started.
    [font='times new roman']
    [font='times new roman']as far as parking goes, there is no school parking. students park at the brown lot and ride the white shuttle to school($2-$6), park on the street in front of university housing and take the ut shuttle (not safe but free), or just take the bus from their home or any park and ride and ride the metrorail to fannin and pressler and walk from there. there are a few students that park in the tmc garages but that can cost $10 or more per day. carpooling is also another big option for students.
    [font='times new roman']
    [font='times new roman']once again c[font='times new roman']ongratulations guys. good luck to all of you. let me know if you have any questions.

    great post! this is true. this was my second attempt at getting in to ut and this time i was admitted. right now, i'm in the first semester of an adn program (i accepted this after ut denied admittance the first time) and i'm goint to finish this semester and hope ut will give me some credit for it (did my first cath last night ). either way, i will not graduate as quickly as i would if i stay in the adn program; however, i feel it will be worth it. i rather just delay graduation and get it all done at once because i'm scared once i start working, i'll have a hard time getting myself to go back. good luck to everyone.
