Hey guys an girls, I will be applying for UIW's BSN program in San Antonio for spring 2015 and it would be awesome to know where I need to stand to be accepted or at least competitive. Their site is very vague on what is competitive while applying there. Have any of y'all been accepted to this program or know anyone who has? If so, what was your gpa, HESI score, etc.? I've read about private schools being a bit easier to get into(don't know if there is much truth to that). Any help and advice on the program would be awesome. I am also applying to Texas woman's Houston and UTHSC Houston so shout out to hopefuls. Thanks for all the help in advance and looking forward to reading your replies

I just completed my application! My gpa is a 3.5, 3.0 in sciences. And my hesi scores were all 80-100 scores, with an average of 89. I really hope my chances are high!

Hi :) made it in a few years back.

gpa was 3.7 HESI was avg to 94 i think. Think they are switching from HESI to something else now though.
