    Yes. I have that one and McGraw-Hill nursing entrance study guide also. AND a GED study guide. I'm not taking any chances. The GED book was only $21.95 and I've read on here that they have the science portion that we need to know for the TEAS V. Well an overview. Like physical science and earth science. I just want to prepare as much as I can because I don't want to wait any longer. :/ Do you know what the minimum GPA they are looking for? So anxious for this semester to be over with! 2 more weeks!!!! Hope everything is going great for you. Maybe we'll get to see each other in class for Spring. =)
    The GED study guide is a great idea! I keep forgetting that I need to prepare myself for physical and earth science - and I haven't taken that since before/during high school!

    No I don't know the minimum GPA I went to an information session at the Dallas campus over spring break but she basically said that as long as you had a 3.5 you were competitive...and ideally to have a greater GPA than that if possible.

    Classes are going superb for me, just ready to have it over with, as I'm sure you know And yes, hopefully we'll both be accepted and in class together!!!!!

    Hey Ladies! I am not applying for Spring 2013 but I am interested in Fall 2013. I am wondering if you all could help me with a question. I just decided that I was going to try for the second degree BSN a few days ago. My problem is that I won't finish my pre-reqs until the fall and the grades will be posted in December. TWU request that the transcripts be submitted by December 1st for the Feb 1st deadline. Does anyone know if this is a hard deadline? That means that no student taking pre-reqs in the fall would be able to apply.

    The ATI book is the one you need. Seriously. There were some very identical questions on the test and it teaches you every little trick you need to know and nothing more.
    I look forward to meeting most of you in the spring! (I'm starting in the fall)

    I think as a general rule, they don't, but I've heard that TWU has made exceptions before. I would call the nursing advisors on the Denton campus to ask them, they would probably either be able to answer your question or direct you to someone who could.

    I don't know for sure if that is a hard rule, but I wouldn't think it would be, because I honestly don't think they even begin looking at applications until after the Feb 1st deadline. But just to be sure I would call and ask an advisor or an admissions coordinator.

    I just found out I've been accepted to TWU (not the nursing program yet) and I want to take pathophysiology in the fall. I think the class is waitlisted now. I'm going to call tomorrow and try to talk to a registrar. Is anyone taking it? Is it only offered at the Denton campus?

    I'm taking patho in the fall also! I just checked online and no, it's not waitlisted. The Denton class has 27 more seats open, and the Dallas class has 69 seats open still. You should be able to register for one as soon as your registration date opens (if you're a sophomore or higher, you can register now!)

    I guess I don't know how to do it or I am not able to register yet. Thank you for the info. Which campus are you taking it at? I would prefer Dallas.

    @kmlnielsen:

    I'm taking it at the Denton campus because I'm already a student there. Plus I've heard that the professor at the Denton campus is easier/more logical than the professor at the Dallas campus, but idk. As far as registering, if you go into your pioneer portal account and click on "register for classes" and then look for BIOL 4344, you should be able to see the sections and register! Unless you're a freshman, in which case you have to wait until you've been seen by an advisor. Hope that helps some.
