TWU Fall 2013 Applicants

Hello everyone!

I am starting this thread... a year early. That is how much I want to be accepted into the Fall 2013 BSN program at TWU in Dallas. I am taking my TEAS on August 30 so that if I have to, I can take it again the following application period (after September 1). I have finished my prerequisites (last week of Summer AP2 right now, hurray).

I hope other people see this forum so that we can all talk and encourage each other about getting into the program (and be stressed out together)! Seriously hoping that this next year flies by! I Look forward to get to know other hopefuls!

It looks like people who applied for the weekend program last year found out during the same time (early March). So maybe traditional program acceptance e-mails will come at the end of March as well. Hopefully!

Hi y'all! I'm new to the site and this thread! I applied to TWU Dallas for the fall 2013 semester and am hoping to get in! Fingers crossed.

My stats are 3.618 GPA, 3/4 first attempts, and 86% on the TEAS.

I don't get the bump (only have 31 hrs at TWU-:/), and have no other degrees.

I wish I could have studied more for the TEAS to be a little more competitive, but I took it the day after I got back from my honeymoon and forgot to take the study guide with me! Yikes!

Be checking your emails for the weekend program applicants.I got the good news today that I have been accepted, Praise be to God, and I am to sign and send the acceptance form by March 13th.Wishing everyone all the best. My stats are 4.0 GPA, 4/4 first attempts and 89 % on TEAS,and I have a B.S in Biology.

Hello! I was wondering if anyone has heard back from them yet? I haven't received any emails from them ever since I submitted my application. This waiting game makes me anxious to know...

Congratulations, hebu! Way to go!!! I really hope we will hear from school soon. Those who apply for the weekend program find out their acceptance first, then traditional program later?

Wow, congratulations! That is way earlier than I thought we would hear something. Hopefully that means the traditional program emails are not far behind them!

What is this core completion email? Do they send you an email IF you are core complete or something?

No, they send you the email if you are not core complete. I did not take the math literacy class because I exempted out of it at my college now. So, according to TWU if I do not have a prior degree I will not be core complete for their program. I am getting my associates this may which will make me core complete at my college now and TWU has to accept that as a transfer; therefore, making me core complete with them. If you already have a degree or took all of their classes then you are fine and won't receive the email. (:
