TWU Fall 2013 Applicants

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hello everyone!

I am starting this thread... a year early. That is how much I want to be accepted into the Fall 2013 BSN program at TWU in Dallas. I am taking my TEAS on August 30 so that if I have to, I can take it again the following application period (after September 1). I have finished my prerequisites (last week of Summer AP2 right now, hurray).

I hope other people see this forum so that we can all talk and encourage each other about getting into the program (and be stressed out together)! Seriously hoping that this next year flies by! I Look forward to get to know other hopefuls!

Oh ok I wanted to take it but wasnt sure if I still needed to go to campus for tests or something. Thanks!

Don't you have to be a second degree student to take it online?

No you can still take it just make sure it doesnt say permission required or somethin like that

Oh, darn. Wish they had an online one available this semester. I do so well in online courses.

I took Patho online at TWU and it was great! Who all is applying to Houston?

Hi, trs7707! I'm applying to Houston. Can you take Patho online? I wish I would have known that! I rather take it in Spring than Summer...

In regards to the TEAS test, will a calculator be provided for the math portion?

HoneyBug, there is no calculator that you can use. When are you taking TEAS? and good luck on your test!

when is the deadline for fall 2013?? and what is the passing grade for TEA V test?

The deadline for fall is Feb 1. As for the TEAS, you must make at least a 64% I believe to be considered, however, a competitive score is 80% according to the admissions coordinator. So, you really want to get as high as you can get, especially considering all of the smart cookies that are applying. VERY competitive and every bit counts!

And from what I'm seeing, people are getting crazy high scores.

yes- you can take it online. It says you need permission to take it, but I just put in the course 5 digit number and it let me. I just looked it up, there are 2 spots left.

I wonder how many people are applying. Last semester it was the most competitive and the most applicants. It was tough.

I just PM'd you. What's the code for the class? I need help, please.
