I'm totally new to this and I am amazed at all the information this web site provides! Is anyone else on here going to be applying for the TTU Traditional Nursing Program for the Fall 2012 semester? Also, I need to take intro to... Read More
Yes because the classes we take are actually held in Lubbock, so we have to register with them, the El Paso Campus has nothing to do with the classes we need. Well the classes are pretty easy, the patho is a bit more intense, but my teacher always gave us a study guide for the tests, and the intro to nursing is mainly writing a few papers, and doing discussions. But overall both of these classes are fairly easy, have you ever taken online classes before?
Yes, I've taken several online classes, but in my experience all depends on the teacher. I'm just a little nervous I want to do well in those class and ofcourse once WE are in the nursing program . This has been a long road and I can't believe, I'm finally getting closer to my goal

Maybe sometime next week...@RedRaiderStudent I am going to the Lubbock campus and I have not received my official acceptance letter either. As far as I know, LittleMissRedRaider hasn't received hers as of yesterday, but I'm not sure if she did today.
You should do fine, both of my teachers have been okay! I know I am still very happy we got into the program, I feel bad because my friend didn't get accepted. And she had a good GPA, and a lot of experienceDo you know anyone else that got accepted?
I'm sorry to hear that! I can imagine how she feels. You are the only one that I know so far that has been accepted. Hopefully we can meet in the upcoming student orientations Do you know when the fall starts? & the program is a year right? 4 consecutive semester..
I know I really do feel bad for anyone that didn't get accepted, I would have been devastated! Yes we will have to meet up during the orientation I think the program is two years, depending on whether they offer summer classes, if they do it will be a year and a half? I am not sure when the fall semester stars, I'm guessing late August! Seems so far away, but we are half way there, I can't wait for student orientation!
- 0Apr 6, '12 by Mchicky24I got an email Wednesday asking if I still needed Patho and Intro and that if I do and wanted to take them through Tech, I had until the 11th to let them know. According to the SON website, they are going to be from 6/5-8/10. I still need Patho so I am going to take it through Tech. I still haven't got my formal offer yet...hopefully soon!
