Hi ABSN,
Yes, the the checklist included background check information, orientation dates, some short online training you have to take in advance, uniforms, technology requirements, book list, etc. It's a whirlwind of activity.

Congratulations! I received an invitation to interview as well. Best of luck to all of you.
Ladybug and football star. I am sure you both will get in somewhere else. You have great scores.

I agree with "ABSN hopefully" I am a nervous wreck! Lol, but I work best under pressure, so I'm ready to bring it =) I consider myself a great essay writer, but even typing my essay has me nervous lol. We will all do great, good luck everyone! I am scheduled on the first day, I just want to get it over with. When does everyone else go?

Congratulation to everyone who landed an interview! I guess I will have to wait till next year, as I was not offered an interview : (
My overall GPA is a 3.7 with 4.0 in science courses. My TEAS score is an 87%, and I completed my CNA also. Just wondering, to those of you who got interviews, do you already have experience working in hospitals? My last career was as a teacher and I also did social work, but never worked in a hospital, could that be it?

Hey all! Congrats to everyone! I'm nervous, but luckily school is keeping me distracted :)
Prereq GPA - 3.82
Science GPA - 4.0
TEAS - 92
I'm sure that my background helps since my first degree is in Kinesiology and I have a good bit of healthcare work experience.
@Dragonfly, our scores/gpa's are so close that the only thing keeping you out has to be experience?? I would try to volunteer and get some work experience with your CNA. Keep your head up!
