    nope. if i call texas children's enquiring about an interview or application status, they tell me that they can't give that info out and i have to wait for them to call me. i wish they would update our accounts online at least if we are being considered for the position or not.

    No phone call for me. I tried to call HR today, but no matter how many times I tried, I couldn't get through. It just hung up on me right away or gave me a busy signal. Since number for HR isn't on their website anymore, I had to keep asking the person at the main number patch me through. I'm sure she got tired of transferring me through, only for me to call back shortly to ask her to patch me through again. So, on my 4th try I talked myself out of trying to contact HR to follow up. They do have a pre-recorded message that says that they don't have time to address application status changes. I read some other threads on this website that said for some hospitals, if you don't follow their rules of not contacting them, they will take your name off the list even for future positions. Not sure if this is true for TCH, but I didn't want to chance it.

    So, I just figure if I don't get a phone call, I'll try and reapply again next time they offer the GN internships in January... That is if I don't already have a job at that time. Considering the tough job market right now for new grads, that may be a real possibility. Sigh...

    I just received a call for an interview for nicu .so there is still hope. Heads up

    OMG I'm so jealous of the 2 people here who have gotten calls!

    Interview went well, I pray it did lol. But it was a panel Interview with a nurse manager, educator,staff nurses, business manager,and one more important person who title I can't remember. They ask the same situation/result type questions. But they only taking two nicu new grads. So praying for the best.
