So I think we are well into the application period so, surely it is time to start up this board. I can not wait until we hear back in May. Trying to keep very busy while waiting. Good luck to everyone applying!! Hopefully we can keep each other company here and celebrate our successes!!

Just some pocket cash. Shirts are $15 I think and they have other stuff. Keep in mind that you can always buy this stuff later on campus when the TNSA office is open but I really wanted to buy a shirt at orientation and only had my debit card. :/

:) I was gonna see if anyone with a wed Jps clinical would switch me, I am in the hybrid program with monday clinical at mansfield. I would also take the wed kindred one too!

Does anyone know anything about the elsevier package? It says they will prepare it for us but do we need to pay for that?

Also, on the majors website there is a fundamentals of nursing concepts, process and practice book for $119 that matches the ISBN given in our important nursing information document. However, there is another fundamentals book that is the exact same but comes with an access code which overall costs $139. I know in the nursing info document it says we need to buy the book with the online package for My Nursing Lab. Do you think that's what the access code is for? It does not specify what it is for in the description and I don't want to buy the wrong thing. Have you all just bought the book buy itself or purchased the "online package" that we are suppose to get?

Hey for those of you not on FB, I’m putting together a contact sheet to make it easier for us to get in touch with one another. I thought it might come in handy for carpooling, switching schedules or forming study groups. If you’re interested, message me your info (phone, email, city you live in, and if you changed your clinical schedule--put down your new schedule.) Elizabeth...I was wondering about the elsevier package as well. We should find out more at orientation. To answer your other question re: the access code, it is the online component we need. If you go through Majors buy the $139 option.

Does anyone know if we pay for our drug screen and nurses kit at TR or TRE?

I just looked through our attachments we got with our acceptance letter b/c I was wondering that too, and the "student fees" forms for the drug test and nurse kits says TR Business Services.

I just noticed on our "Fall 2012 Foundations Checklist" it says to pay at TRE Business Services. So I guess TRE? I don't know! lol sorry Hill!!

I have another book question for you all! What is everyone doing about the skills book? I know a lot of the current students say that they didn't use their skills book but are you guys getting it anyways just in case? Or taking their advice and just getting the user guide/access code? I would love to save money and not buy the book but i'm just nervous we might end up needing it.
