Hi everyone! I'm back in the forum. I missed you all guys. I've been away for almost 2 years. hehehe... got so busy with living a life here in the US. Anyway, I'm currently in Connecticut working as an RN in a nursing and rehab facility. We are seriously considering about moving to Houson, Texas. We visited the place twice already and we are really in love with it. What do we need to consider before making the decision? Any inputs please... I would love to work in a hospital there. Been to the Texas medical center and it is just so lovely. But I'm a bit anxious about it because I do not have a hospital experience. i'm just wonderin' if employers will welcome me in their hospital.I really need your inputs guys... Thanks!

Hey there, I just posted an answer to your questions in another thread. I just wanted to mention that if moving to TX you may also want to consider Austin. It's a beautiful city, much smaller than Houston but also more eclectic. The live music there is wonderful and the outdoor activities can't be beat. Just something to consider :) That said, the pay in Austin isn't nearly as good as Houston and that's why I'm here. In my opinion, I think employers in Austin pay less because it's a more desirable place to live.
