Hi,
I am applying to PVAMU in the spring of 2015. I wanted to start a thread and see who else may be applying.

Did you use your insurance?
No I didn't get my insurance yet? Any suggestions on which health insurance company I should go with?

I believe PV has an insurance you can get if you don't have your own
So on the scholarship application it asks us for letters of recommendation from faculty members. Does this mean I need letters from pv faculty members only or I can get my current or previous professors to write me a letter?

On the final requirements list, it says that for the required immunizations, the Chicken-pox (varicella) is required. My doctor said that since I have already had my chicken pox, I do not need the varicella vaccinations. Does PV still require us to get that vaccination? I also got my varicella titer last friday and I am waiting for my results
I have the same question.
Two letters of recommendations are required. One from a professor and another one can be from anyone. Doesn't have to be from the PV faculty

I believe in there it said that just the titers are fine
I have not submitted my packet yet because I'm still waiting on my titer results. As for the scholarships, I'm not sure which ones I'll be applying to. I still need to take a look at them! What about you?
