Anybody else applying to PV? If so when should we receive letters in the mail? And how was your experience applying to the school?

Yes! Definitely!! Good luck to you as well! I received a letter of recommendation from my professor, now all I need to do is my community service. Where did you do your community service?

I did a community service long time ago, in a health care center close to Tomball I do not know if its going to work. However, I applied to be a volunteer in a shelter. When are you planning to take all the papers to PV?

Hey lalacb123,

I spoke with Dr. Smith and she told me that the letter of recommendation can be personal or from the community service. She said to read the instructions carefully. I checked but it is so confusing because it does not have the word "OR". I do not know what to do, I do not know if you want to call and check with her. She said that we do not need the eight hours of community service because eight hours do not tell anything about you, however the secretary told me that I need the eight hours :banghead: If you call let me know please. Thank you.

Moneca, the secretary told me 8 hours is required. This is what I am concerned about with PV, they are VERY unorganized. Lets wait till we get the e-mail from Ms. A that shows if we have everything complete. I'm mailing my app and HESI scores today.

Ok i finally mailed everything off. I sent her a letter of recommendation from my professor and one from my honors society. Hopefully she'll accept them both! I'll let u know if I hear anything.

Ok, I am going probably this friday to take everything in person. I already sent my transcript and the payment to the University. I am waiting for the letters, I will have everything ready for Thursday. Ms Anderson is coming back on the 15, so lets wait and see what happens. I am going to make one personal letter and see if that also works. Thank you
