PNP v FNP help!

  1. Hi! I've been a RN for 4 years - 2 years pedi experience and 1-2 of adult med surg/trauma. I just got accepted to Texas Tech PNP program and UT Tyler FNP program. I'm having the WORST time deciding. I've exhausted all my searches and contacts, and I'm just not sure. FNP seems better opportunity wise, but I do love children.

I know I love working in the hospital- don't even care what unit!

im nervous that if I choose one vs the other, it will hurt me in the long run. Especially living near Austin, Texas-- the job market isn't that great now.

Advice or experience is greatly appreciated!
