Parkland NICU or L&D resident summer 2013 applicants

I thought we should start a new tread so we could stay up to date on any news regarding Parkland. I only applied to NICU and L&D nurse resident positions and graduate in May from UTA. I'm still praying Parkland calls!! ;)

Looks like orientation starts early July (8??) & they're taking around 30 residents.

Do you happen to know how many they are interviewing? Wonder if my chances are slim to none.

How long ago did they tell you the hiring manager received your application? I got that email on Thursday and I was hoping Id get an interview email this week.

I never got an email saying the hiring manager got my application. I just got an email on thursday saying to pick my top two interview times. A friend of mine got the email you're talking about on wednesday and she just got an interview date today so i'm sure you're gona get one!

I scheduled an interview for the 29th (L&D). Can someone tell me what to expect? Is it a panel interview? Behavioral questions? Good luck to everyone!!

I interviewed with only 2 mgrs. Mostly behavioral questions, but they talked a lot explaining how it all worked & about the unit. They said they'd be making decisions fast, so I'm thinking this week or next. No idea how many they're interviewing. Seemed like a lot.

Rumor is ER has 40ish spots!!

Any idea how many days ER is interviewing? I got an interview and scheduled for late Friday (4/26). I wanted to go early but I work the night before and the night after, it was the best I could do. I'm just curious if they have interviews earlier in the week or next week. I'm starting to get a little nervous!

I haven't heard from ER yet.. but if they are hiring 40 people that's amazing!

Has anyone else applied for SICU on here? They're hiring 15 nurses for the July residency.
