U.S.A. Texas

Published

I put my application in today. Does anyone have some insight into how many people apply and how many spots are available? I know it's very competitive :( ......what a dream opportunity though, it can't hurt to at least try

Thank you for the info, chmaju! You saved me hours of staring at my phone anxiously!

Oh man, I'm so anxious. I guess there's nothing we can do but wait anyways, but I just want to get on with my life!! :)

Are any of the other pple posting here NOT from TX and hoping to move to DFW area? (if we're lucky enough to get in, that is)

C***,

Please contact me ASAP in reference to the job offer for Nurse Internship, I have been unable to reach you by phone.

Thank you

Just got this from HR.... so I guess 'to the job offer' is a good thing? It is past 5 there so I can't get ahold of her till tomorrow :(

oh my goodness! I cant even imagine the feeling. They've contacted my at 5:30 and 5:45 before. You might give it a shot?

She called back, I got accepted!

Has anyone else heard back?

I still have not heard a peep. I'm going crazy over here! Congratulations on your acceptance!

I haven't heard anything either. Blugh. If the past year of nursing school didn't give me a stomach ulcer, this definitely will! Congratulations to you, chmaju :)!

I just registered for an account because I've been following this forum but never commented before, but I just wanted you guys to know that I got a call back and position offer today too. It was around 5:30. And congrats chmaju!

Congrats to ALLL of you who've received offers and good luck to those who are still waiting!! I was curious regarding the residency programs at parkland. Is it only available for new grads? I am relocating from Florida to Texas and I only have my eye on Parkland's ER. I have 2.6years of experience on a telemetry floor but most hospital want actual ER experience! Soooo anyone have info for me??? :bookworm:

I'm sure you don't have to apply to the new grad program due to your experience in telemetry. You can apply for the regular floor position. I think it's posted as Staff Nurse-ER.

Specializes in Telemetry.

I was accepted! woohoo!
