Anyone applying for the Fall 2012 semester at North Central Texas College for the ADN program? I went up to Gainesville yesterday and applied! I'm pretty excited because I didn't realize until mid-March that I would qualify prerequisite-wise to apply for any programs for Fall, so it was a pleasant surprise. :)

@Luckie16 from what you remember about the Kaplan, were there alot of terms like X grain on the math portion?? I had no idea what X grain was equal to until I Googled it? Should I be more familiar with these type of terms and conversions?

Thanks so much! I'm nervous and READY at the same time. I also have a microbiology test Friday, so I've been doing alot of studying. But I'm ready. Good luck to the both of you on Friday. I also pray that we all get into the program :-)

Good luck, everyone! I have not been able to study at all for the Kaplan exam due to Micro ramping up here at then end of SummerI. I'm so frazzled!

I took the exam. It wasn't too bad. I bummed the A&P portion, which really lowered my my overall score. Overall score is 74% and my critical thinking score is 88%. Estelle said she will post the cut off score, Friday or next Monday. Good luck to you both!!

Hi onbowens1,I think you did good! I heard that the Kaplan is pretty difficult and according to the last cut off it was 70! I am hopping to get 70, I will be more than happy!

Yes, anaw! I pray the the cut off score is 70 again this semester. And I hope they tell us the cutoff tomorrow, so we don't have to wait the weekend

It looks like the tentative cut-off score is 73, but they are double checking on Monday to be sure! I really lucked out on the science portion and ended up with 90% overall. Walked out of there totally stunned.

I'm so antsy about getting my letter! I want to start preparing already! Hopefully letters really will be sent out by the end of the week. :)
