Memorial Hermann gn residency summer 2018

Hi all!

Making a thread for the Memorial Hermann GN Residency Program starting in summer 2018.

Anyone going to the open house/ pre-match day soon on February 17??

I replied to the questions they asked and stated I was an ADN student. I also had a family member who works in the ER at TMC who asked a coworker who is actually on the interview panel if having an ADN vs a BSN would sway her one way or the other and she said "No, I look at the overall person." So I drove 4 hours down there to attend and after submitting my application I got an email stating that TMC and Childrens do not accept ADN students. SO I'm not really sure why they never told me that, especially when they knew I was an ADN student who's first choice was TMC. The only memorial hospitals that hire ADNs are Pearland and southeast.

I received the same email. I told the recruiter to change my choices.

How long after you submitted your application did you receive an email?

Really? I wasn't aware that none of the other branches hired ADNs. I was under the impression that only TMC and Children's were strictly BSN. I think that information should have been disclosed in the info section on the website prior to applying.

Hi everyone!

Anyone receive an invitation to Match Day yet? I know it's still pretty early but thought I'd check!

I was under that same impression. I put my first choice as Southwest. :/

So did I !!

I received the additional information email on Monday but haven't heard anything back regarding Match Day! Eager to hear!

I still havent heard anything. The recruiter said we should hear something no later than the 26th.

I haven't heard anything yet either, however, my 2nd choice campus lists my application as under review.

One of mine says under review as well. The other still says applied. I wonder how long til we hear anything. I am not so patiently waiting lol it's making me very nervous.

Both of mine are under review now so one way or the other things are starting to move along.
