Lone Star Kingwood Spring 2013

U.S.A. Texas

I was just wondering who else will be applying to the ADN program at Lone Star Kingwood for Spring 2013. I took the HESI the day after all my finals this semester and did okay despite not studying at all. Right now my score for the program is 11.616 - I am debating whether or not I should retake the HESI to get a higher score or settle for my 11.616. Any suggestions?

HI! I'm expecting to apply for SPRING 2013 myself! COngrats on coming this far!

I'm planning to take my HESI July 17. I'm very nervous and just dont know how it will be. I have the study review guide but its still scary!:o) From what I know, you have to wait 2 months from when you took it to retake it. Do you happen to know what the cut off is as far as points go for the program itself?

I think your score is awesome! I hope mine will be somwhere like that!

Hi! I'm applying for LSC-Kingwood's Spring 2013 myself! I've already taken the HESI and finished all my classes...just waiting on that application date to open. :D

I got a pretty good score on the HESI and my application score is an 11.794. My nursing advisor at Kingwood said that last year's accepted students' cutoff was 11.4 and she felt like I had a pretty good shot at getting in so I'm hopeful! I think you have a pretty good shot as well...but if you are doubtful you should meet with an adivsor and ask about your score if you haven't already. Here's hoping that we all make it in!! :)

I'm planning on applying for Kingwood Spring 2013. Will be taking the Hesi at the end of this month....Gl to all

I think you both have great scores and stand a very good chance of getting in...just based on previous threads.

GL on the HESI!!

Hi everyone. I will also be applying this Application period. I will be applying with 11.52. GOOD LUCK 2 EVERYONE!!!!

Dear All,

I have also applied for the Spring 2013 ADN Program; 1st Choice was Kingwood and 2nd Choice was Cyfair. I even applied for the LVN Program at Tomball in there was a problem with any of my ADN choices.

My GPA is 11.75 and like somebody mentioned above, last year's cut off GPA for Kingwood I was told was about 11.4. For some reason Cyfair seems to require a higher GPA than that while North Harris takes the lowest GPA because it has the largest intake (Fall).

From what I have heard, any body with a GPA over 11.5 stands a good chance of admission to Kingwood. I wonder about Cyfair.

When I submitted copies of my application package I was told to wait for 4-6 before getting a reply.

Does any one know anything else going on since submission of applications?

Any information about when we might be informed of the results?

Does anybody know last year's cut off GPA for Cyfair?

Is it true that all Lone Star Campuses do application processing and student selection together, which may be the reason we were told to deliver hard copies only to the Campus of 1st Choice?
