I REALLY LOVE TX, but....

I am at a cross roads. I have a teenage daughter in PA, I feel guilty and sad that I chose to miss so many years with her. I have been living primarily in TX for the past (7) years, I really like the culture here, for the most part. I love the diversity of cultures, Asian, American, Mexican, Eastern European, etc. I really love TX, but I got accepted to the ADN program in PA first. My teenage daughter would be heart-broken :crying2:, if I don't come home to PA to be with her for her last year of high school. She really needs her mother's arms around her, and not the Sprint telephone in her ear, and I really need her too. Futhermore, I don't really know how to evaluate one nursing program vs. another. I am somewhat familiar with hospitals in both cities. What would you do??? :confused: :confused: :confused:

I would most defininitely go to the Pa. program. You will get your education plus your daughter would have her mom and you will have her. 2 precious gifts for the price of one. May God bless you! Traci in West Texas:balloons:

go to your daughter but still be independant ...and be true to yourself..you won't regret ..for family will always be there for you ..if you are there for them...:chuckle

i agree with the others, i dont know what brought u to texas but i know ur daughter will need u. i think its wonderful u can go to school there and be there for daughter's last yr in school. who's knows she might want to enter the field of nursing too. well good luck with everything
