Grayson County College LVN peeps?

Curious who else is out there that is applying for LVN at Grayson? How'd you do on your TEAS? Anyone have any idea of what scores typically get in and is everyone else as anxious/nervous as I am? Feel free to introduce yourself and I hope to see you all in the fall :)

Perhaps some current Grayson LVN students can comment on what their TEAS V scores were and what to expect? :)

Well ladies, Today is the deadline. So hopefully not too much longer. Did you guys use the delay to retake the TEAS? I considered it. I didn't do it though. Now I'm worried. Maybe I'm one of those people who should have retaken it? Or forgot something in my file...I'm worrying for nothing, I'm sure. I double checked that paperwork a thousand times...oh well, fingers crossed!

No, I didn't retake the test. I didn't even think about it. LOL I am happy with my score. I have however used the extra time to worry that I've forgotten to submit something in my file! I keep telling myself that I have double and triple checked and everything is there that has to be there to get accepted. So now I am just trying to be calm and not be too much of a mailbox stalker the next couple of weeks! Good luck!

Thanks. Good luck to you too. Hopefully we will know by the 4th.

I hope so too, but I doubt it. They had TEAS testing at the college Tuesday and Wednesday and those scores will take at least a week to get back, so it's probably going to be closer to the 15th before we start finding out anything. :sniff: Hopefully they get them out sooner, but I'm not really going to expect anything until around then sometime.

How could they be testing so late, if the deadline was today? Their scores would need to be in by today. Right? So weird.

Interesting point. IDK that's just what I looked up on the website and saw. Maybe I was off on the dates or something, because you are right that doesn't make sense. Scores and everything would have had to be in by the deadline no matter what. Well here's hoping that letters come next week! :yeah:But I'm not going to get my hopes up too high just in case. lol

I won't get my hopes up either. Pushing back the deadline kind of changed things. Maybe the rules are slightly different for those taking a late TEAS. Maybe they will be allowed to turn scores in late. I will start checking the mail religiously next week, just in case.

I know. I was so disappointed when I got that email. I was like what? whyyyyy? *insert whiny voice here* :o I can't really tell from the class schedule, but last year they said to plan to be at the college from about 8-8:30 til about 4 on lecture days. The class schedule this year says the classes start at 9:30 so I have no idea on that one. I figure they will clarify at orientation. I am just ready to see a letter in the mail. I have been planning this for almost as long as you have. I sent my application in January. After not being able to go last year, I was not even sure that I was going to take the TEAS to try again. Now I just wish that I knew one way or the other if I need to make different plans for the Fall.

Where did you see it starts at 9:30? I sure hope that doesn't mean we will be in class until 5:30 :-/

I don't think it will take them a week to get the results. I'm figuring they should have them by Saturday and maybe mail letters on Monday or Tuesday? Ok, probably wishful thinking on my part but I'll be out of town from July 6-15 so I'd really like to know somthing!!

Sorry I was off. They start at 9 a.m. I hope not either. I saw it on campus connect under course availability.

Well, it took my scores a full week to come back when I took it in May. I am hoping that they start mailing letters this week. I don't have financial aid so I'm paying out of pocket and I need to know how much it's gonna cost me so I can set up my payment plan. Them extending the deadline really put a wrench in that for me. :crying2:

Am I the only one who checks this thread daily, to see if one of you post that you got your letter. So I can run down to the post office myself. I hope that letter comes soon.
