    HI,
Congratulations on getting accepted, just wanted to know what school will you be attending. I'm also in Dallas and I will be applying to schools in August.
As far as what to expect, some friends of mine that are already in nursing school say that Pharmacology is a @#$%!!!:angryfire but somone else will have to elaborate on that for me!

    ANYWAY....i wish you the best!

I live in the Dallas area and want to go to TWU. I am not entering nursing school untill Fall '05. Any advice you could give me on how to become a good applicant would be helpful.

Well, as far as RN school, i dont know what to tell you about the courses. I am in LVN school and I have to tell you that absolutely, pharmacology reeeeeeally sucked! Then again, I guess you guys will have a little longer than 3 months to learn it. But I dont know if that would have made a difference or not. Its just difficult to memorize basically the whole drug book-but not impossible. Good luck to all of you.

congratulations for pursuing the wonderful field of nursing, just remember to hold tight to your dreams, it will be very rough and you will be discouraged easily. dont give in to the pressure, just keep your eyes on the vision. you will be faced with a huge academic challenge, your whole life will suddenly change and the stress will be enormous. but the end result is so worth it, you will be allowed to make so many positive chages in peoples lives, and you will be so richly rewarded. good luck and the best too you.

Congrats! My advice, since you asked, is to form a study group of 3-4 people who all pledge not to discuss their love life, work, family, etc. but will just study. My group all made high grades and I attribute it to the fact we got together once a week, test or no test, and hashed out the information. If you can explain something to another person then you really do know the topic. Good luck and keep us informed.
