I filed electronically for my initial licensure for the NCLEX RN. I have already completed the fingerprinting last week. I just found out today that I should have disclosed an incident that occured as a minor (MIP Minor in possession of EOTH). I was 16 yrs old and did not think about it until talking to a fellow student today. I am in my 30's now....what should i do....any suggestions??? I have never had anything on my record....just 1 or 2 speeding ticket.....Thanks

We seem to be encountering more and more questions that often pertain to the effects of a criminal history on nursing licensure:

Is it possible to become licensed as a nurse if you have a criminal history?

Is it possible to become licensed as a nurse if you have a DUI or other related charges?

What happens if you are charged or convicted of a crime after licensure?

Can I go to nursing school and/or be licensed if my record has been sealed or expunged?

These are questions that the members of http://www.Allnurses.com cannot answer. The only reliable source of information is your State Board of Nursing.
