Yea, the book is 7th edition. But the DVD is 2nd edition.. I can send you the pictures if you want. I am sure all the nursing skills use the same book and stuff??

Oh yes, the DVD is separate from the book. This DVD is different from the one that is included in the book.

Oh yea, you have to buy Separate DVD. It's not the one included in the book.

Has anyone received their campus placement email yet? They were supposed to arrive yesterday right?

@nickasarbata - I just received my acceptance letter last night and she wrote that the next steps email with our campus placements would be sent out by November 2nd. Also I saw on the status update page: https://sites.google.com/a/austincc.edu/application-status/ that they wouldn't be sent until next week. Hope that helps!

Taylors Video Guide to Clinical Nursing Skills

Author(s): Carol R. Taylor

ISBN10: 1608311457 ISBN13: 9781608311453

I think this is what your looking for. Also available to watch in library at EVC on a 2hr loan or one day checkout. At riverside they have it to check out as a textbook. If you use the students resources under the taylors fundamental book and use the access code that comes with your book under the students resource tab it has some of the videos posted there as well. I took this class and did the same thing. Bought the book ahead of time so I just didnt want to pay for the DVD's.

I got CEC, my first choice! Excited to begin! Annoying that they've still got delays, but I sent my CBC today and working on all the medical stuff next week, so it feels like things are starting to happen! Congrats to all, excited to meet those of you who'll be at CEC, and soon it'll be time to review for that skills checkoff and try to remember dosage calculation which I completed more than one year ago!

Thanks jennieanne. I finally got the DVD but I haven't even watched any of the video. Lol. For the most part I remember a lot from my Cna class I just need to tweek it a little. I got my acceptance letter n I also got my hybrid class thank God! I know there was someone who answered this question but I need a little more info.Does any one know exactly how many days a week do u have to take off work for lab/ Clinicals for hybrid? My work is ONLY days which ends at 330pm. After that it is the call team, also on the weekends only call team works. I read somewhere that someone was able to work 3 days a week while in hybrid but I don't know if that person was able to work at night. IM nervous b/C I don't know if I'll have time to work n I can't survive on Jus taking call. So anyone in hybrid can answer this?
